Dr. Slice's Software Archive

This archive contains software programs that have been valuable to me. Most of them I am currently using! I have scoured the web searching for the best tools with the smallest download. I present them here for your download pleasure. I also have some links to other free software sites so that if you do not find what you are looking for, you can take your search elsewhere.

Freeware vs. Shareware

There are many kinds of software that can be downloaded off the Internet with many confusing names. At the bottom of this page are some definitions for different types of 'wares. For the purposes of this page however, there are really only two types of software: free and non-free. The free software can be found in my Freeware Archive, while everything else is in my Shareware Archive

Regarding my Software archives: my archives are not available for direct download. It takes too much disk space and bandwidth to host the actual files on the free sites that my pages are located at right now so all links will take you to the program's home page where you will be able to download from the source. This has the advantage that you will always be getting the latest versions regardless of when I last updated my archive.

Software Links

These links are to sites with more software in case you didn't find what you needed here. Most of these sites are far more comprehensive than mine, I just keep track of programs I have personally found to be the best and most useful for myself. These are just a few links to get you started. Happy hunting!

www.nonags.com: A site dedicated to providing nag free software. Updated daily.
